Ann Bruder is Commercial Metals Company's new general counsel and corporate secretary

The steel manufacturer has promoted Bruder to the position of senior vice president of law,
government affairs and global trade compliance, general counsel and
corporate secretary

There has been a raft of executive-level appointments at Commercial Metals Company.

The NYSE-listed steel manufacturer has promoted its vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of commercial markets, Ann Bruder, to the position of senior vice president of law,
government affairs and global trade compliance, general counsel and
corporate secretary. The length of Bruder’s title reflects the widening scope of her responsibilities since
she joined the steel company in September 2007.

Before that she worked for just over three years at Carbo Ceramics, a publicly listed industrial giant specializing in the ceramic proppant used during the hydraulic fracturing process, where she was chief counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary.

In addition to her experience in the industrial sector, Bruder worked for several years in-house at American Airlines. She earned her law degree from the Washington University School of Law in St Louis, Missouri.
