Lincoln Financial Group has announced that Andrea Goodrich has joined the company as senior vice president and corporate secretary. She started on January 17 and reports directly to Kirkland Hicks, Lincoln Financial’s executive vice president and general counsel.

In her new role, Goodrich leads a corporate law team with responsibility for contracts, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property, investment transactions, securities and tax. She replaces Charlie Brawley, who joined Campbell's Soup in 2016.

Goodrich previously served in a variety of roles at Tyco International, most recently as the company’s vice president, corporate secretary and associate general counsel. Tyco International completed a merger with Johnson Controls in September 2016.

Goodrich began her career as a law clerk before moving to Alston & Bird, where she started as an associate and later moved into a partner position.

‘Andi is an accomplished legal professional and I am thrilled she decided to join our organization,’ says Hicks. ‘I am confident that her diverse background of experience, coupled with a demonstrated track record of effective leadership, will enable Lincoln Financial to advance its business strategy.’

Goodrich is an active member of the Society for Corporate Governance and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
