E3 Metals hires new corporate secretary

Greg Florence also serves as CFO

Calgary, Alberta-based E3 Metals, an emerging petro-lithium developer, has hired Greg Florence as corporate secretary and CFO.

According to the company, Florence has almost 40 years’ experience in sectors including upstream oil and gas, green technologies, industrial supplies and agribusiness. He was most recently CFO of Airdar. In addition to spending more than 12 years as a CFO, he has held a number of senior management positions such as corporate secretary, director of investments and vice president of marketing and corporate development.

Florence’s expertise includes finance and accounting, budgeting and forecasting, regulatory compliance, corporate finance, portfolio investment and management and corporate governance. He has served as a director of various public and private companies and non-profits.

In a statement, the company thanks Debbie Lew, E3 Metals’ outgoing CFO and corporate secretary, ‘for her outstanding contributions to the company’s success and growth over the past year.’

E3 Metals CEO Chris Doornbos says in the statement: ‘We are delighted to welcome Greg to E3 Metals. He brings with him significant industry experience and an excellent track record of leading finance functions in the resource and technology sectors. As we focus on our development strategy, Greg’s appointment reinforces our commitment to advance toward commercial production in 2021.
