MTS promotes attorney to general counsel

Todd Klemmensen was previously associate general counsel

MTS Systems Corporation earlier this month promoted Todd Klemmensen to the post of senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.

He was previously associate general counsel and acting general counsel for the company, and took up his new role on August 5.

Klemmensen was senior manager for contracts at Alliant Techsystems, and provided legal counsel within its Armament Systems Group, before joining MTS Systems as director of contracts and senior counsel in 2012. Before shifting to in-house roles, he worked for almost two decades in private legal practice.

MTS Systems provides testing hardware, software and services designed to help customers improve design, development and manufacturing processes.

The company’s president and CEO, Jeffrey Graves, says in a statement: ‘On behalf of our board of directors and the entire management team, we are pleased to appoint Todd to the role of MTS general counsel. This is a recognition of the value his contributions have provided over the last six years, as he has worked with the leadership of both our test and sensors business units.’
