La-Z-Boy appoints new general counsel

Stephen Krull succeeds Rand Tucker, who is retiring

Furniture company La-Z-Boy has recruited Stephen Krull as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Krull succeeds Rand Tucker, who is retiring after 19 years with the Monroe, Michigan-based company.

In his new role, Krull reports to chair, president and CEO Kurt Darrow. He is responsible for managing all legal matters for the company, including corporate securities, compliance, litigation, intellectual property and patents, environmental issues, M&A and contracts.

Krull’s career has included serving as executive vice president and general counsel of Miller Diversified, executive vice president, general counsel, secretary and chief compliance officer of Con-Way, and senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Owens Corning. He has experience of tackling legal issues in areas such as M&A, restructuring, compliance, intellectual property, litigation, labor relations, government and public affairs and security.
