Hormel Foods names CCO

Pierre Lilly joined company in 2016 as director of internal audit

Hormel Foods Corporation has appointed Pierre Lilly as senior vice president and chief compliance officer (CCO) for the company’s global operations.

In his new role as CCO, Lilly oversees compliance, risk and ethics within the company and ensures laws, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures are adhered to. He reports to chair, president and CEO Jim Snee.

Lilly joined Hormel Foods in 2016 as director of internal audit, having worked for more than 25 years in the fields of governance, risk, compliance and controls. Before joining the company, he worked in audit and compliance leadership positions with National Express Corporation and Navistar International, along with audit roles at several other Fortune 500 companies. He began his career in public accounting at Grant Thornton.

Lilly most recently led the Hormel Foods internal audit function, overseeing the evaluation of operational and financial processes and controls. He has also developed and led strategic compliance activities within the company.

Austin, Minnesota-based Hormel Foods’ brands include Skippy, Spam, Hormel Natural Choice and Applegate.
