Oracle’s general counsel to retire

Company veteran Dorian Daley is retiring as Oracle Corporation’s executive vice president and general counsel.

According to an SEC filing, Daley on June 27 gave notice of her intention to retire in August. The filing states that she will assist in the transition of her duties until her retirement becomes effective. It provides no further details and an Oracle spokesperson did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

Daley joined Oracle in 1992 after spending five years with the commercial litigation group of Landels Ripley & Diamond in San Francisco. Before being appointed general counsel, she was a vice president and associate general counsel for Oracle.
