Enablon recognized for innovative GRC offering

Enterprise software supplier’s broad GRC efforts rated by independent research firm

Enablon, one of the world’s leading providers of sustainability management software solutions, announced yesterday that it has been recognized for having one of the broadest and deepest platforms for governance, risk and compliance (GRC), the company said.

The multinational company has been recognized in a report titled, ‘Market overview: GRC platforms on overwhelmingly diverse market struggles for definition, while few leaders emerge,’ by Forrester Research, an independent technology and market research firm.

According to the report, ‘Enablon brings elements such as sustainability and environmental management to GRC.’ Enablon provides services that allow companies, among other things, to accurately measure non-financial data, manage their operational risks, align their compliance processes and strengthen their audits and controls.

‘The company merges capabilities for environmental management and reporting into more traditional GRC domains like financial controls and management,’ the report mentions.

Some of the company’s software suites include, risk management, international control, audit & business continuity, corporate governance and legal management. Global firms have integrated Enablon into their existing operating systems to improve the reporting and management of their sustainability and environmental, health & safety performance and better manage risks, the company said.

‘Efficient governance, risk and compliance management requires companies to take into consideration human, community, environmental, internal and external factors,’ says Phil Tesler, CEO of Enablon North America. ‘[Its] expertise in the traditional GRC markets and leadership in the broader sustainability space make it ideally positioned to help companies respond to the more complex risk management challenges of our times.’
