Federal-Mogul announced new senior vice president and general counsel

Federal-Mogul has appointed Brett Pynnonen to the position of senior vice president and general counsel. Reporting directly to president and CEO José Maria Alapont, he also serves as a corporate officer and member of Federal-Mogul’s strategy board. 
In announcing the appointment, Alapont enthuses: ‘Brett has strong business knowledge and senior-level, international legal experience. He will contribute to Federal-Mogul’s relentless drive for leading technology and innovation, world-class customer satisfaction and sustainable global profitable growth.’
Pynnonen has been with the company since 2007, when he took the role of associate general counsel and assistant secretary. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul he was general counsel and secretary of Covansys, and before that an attorney at law firm Butzel Long in Detroit. He holds a BBA from Western Michigan University and a JD from Ohio State University.
