KKR Financial Holdings (KFN) has made a raft of changes to its senior executive team. In addition to naming Michael McFerran CFO and Jeffrey Van Horn executive vice president and director of tax, the company has also appointed Nicole Macarchuk as general counsel.
‘We’re pleased that Mike McFerran will be taking on the additional role of CFO,’ says William Sonneborn, CEO of KFN and a member of KKR. ‘As COO and a member of the management team, Mike has made significant contributions to KFN’s progress and will seamlessly assume this additional role. We thank Jeff Van Horn for his important contributions as CFO over the past four years and look forward to continuing to work with him. Nicole Macarchuk’s appointment as general counsel further broadens and strengthens our management team, and we welcome her to KFN.’
Macarchuk joins KKR as a director and also serves as general counsel of KKR Asset Management. Prior to joining KKR, she served as co-general counsel and managing director at Och-Ziff Capital Management Group. She holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a BA from Fordham University.
