Korn Ferry counsel discusses the firm’s proxy statement nomination

Highlights from the Corporate Governance Awards 2019

Korn Ferry was nominated for the best proxy statement (mid-cap) award at the recent Corporate Governance Awards, having won the category three years ago.

Speaking to Corporate Secretary at the awards, Lynn Wolters, associate counsel with the firm, said that ‘it’s a great honor’ to be nominated in the year that Korn Ferry celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Korn Ferry has experienced rapid growth in recent years, driven in part by a range of acquisitions, including those of Hay Group, PDI Ninth House, Miller Heiman and Lominger. Jonathan Kuai, the company’s general counsel and corporate secretary, spoke to Corporate Secretary in 2017 about how such growth leads to greater scrutiny of the proxy statement from shareholders.
