Proxy fighter turned cover boy

Here’s a heads-up from Kingsdale Shareholder Services in Toronto: founder Wes Hall is the subject of the cover story in the February issue, to be published by the Globe and Mail tomorrow.

Kingsdale, which claims the bulk of Canada’s proxy solicitation business, was on the activists’ side in both the Canadian Pacific and Agrium battles, which dominated business pages in 2012 and 2013. Hall and his cohorts fought on the front lines for Pershing Square against CP and for Jana Partners against Agrium.
