Resolute Energy Corporation, the Utah-based oil and gas company, has appointed Michael Stefanoudakis to the position of senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.

In announcing the appointment, Resolute Energy CEO Nicholas Sutton says: ‘We are thrilled
to have Michael join Resolute. He has vast

Stefanoudakis does indeed bring significant experience to his new role. For more than 15 years
he has worked at public companies in various legal positions. Most recently he was senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of NYSE-listed StarTek. He held similar posts
at BioFuel Energy Corporation and Patina Oil & Gas. Before moving
in-house, he worked in private practice
at the law firm Hogan & Hartson.

When asked about his new role, Stefanoudakis says in a statement
that he looks forward to working on Resolute’s expansion efforts. ‘I strongly believe the opportunities in front of
us are terrific, and I look forward to
helping to build Resolute and expand the company’s footprint in upstream oil and gas activities,’ he comments.

Stefanoudakis attended the University of San Diego, where he majored in economics and graduated with honors. He received his JD
from Harvard Law School.
