NYSE-listed OneMain Financial has recruited its next top in-house attorney. Adam Rosman will join the company as executive vice president and general counsel on January 2, succeeding John Anderson, who is retiring. Anderson will step down as general counsel at the start of 2020 and take up a senior advisory role with the company until mid-year.

Rosman is moving to OneMain from Fiserv, where he served as executive vice president and general counsel for First Data for almost five years before the Fiserv-First Data merger earlier this year.

Before joining First Data, Rosman spent five years at insurer Willis Group Holdings, including two years as executive vice principal and group general counsel, according to his LinkedIn profile. Earlier in his career he was an assistant us attorney and deputy assistant and deputy staff secretary to former US president Bill Clinton.

OneMain, which describes itself as the largest US lending-exclusive financial company, has also hired Jenny Osterhout as chief administrative officer, effective January 6. Osterhout is joining the company from Bank of New York Mellon where she held a number of positions including most recently CFO for investment management.

‘I am excited to welcome Adam and Jenny to OneMain,’ says OneMain CEO and president Doug Shulman in a statement. ‘Their expertise and experience will help us continue our mission of helping hard-working Americans meet their financial needs. I want to thank John for all he has done to help build the great company we have today and wish him all the best.’
